*Longmont Walking Challenge
September 20-27th
Be sure to register for the third annual Longmont Walking Challenge! Free pedometers will be given out to those who register early. It’s not just about walking. All activities can be converted into steps. Use this challenge as a fun way to add physical activity to your and your family’s everyday life. Supporting partners of the event include: Longmont YMCA; Times-Call; LiveWell Longmont; Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce; Longmont United Hospital; City of Longmont Recreation Services.

Parents Night Out
*Parents can enjoy romantic date nights during the fall while we watch your children ages 2 1/2 and and older. The program is filled with activities for all ages of children which include games, crafts, playtime, a “G” movie at the end of the evening and plenty of opportunities to make friends. We will also serve healthy food, snacks and juice. Advance registration is required.

Fee: $20 per child
YMCA Member Fee: $10 per child

Tailgate "Trunk or Treat"
Friday, October 31  from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.

Come join the fun with the YMCA’s “Trunk or Treat” party. Children and parents will gather in the YMCA parking lot – be sure to wear your costumes – at 5:00 pm. You’ll park in the designated tailgate area, open your trunk, decorate it and pass out treats to the children as they trick or treat from car to car. “Trunk or Treating” will begin at 5:30pm. This is a safe, low cost and fun way to start your trick or treating activities. For more information, contact Giselle Lehmann at 720-652-4731.

Huff, Puff Before You Stuff
*The YMCA will be open on Thanksgiving Day, 9:00 a.m. to noon for a special pre thanksgiving dinner workout. The nursery and all business operations will be closed. Donations will go to our annual scholarship campaign and canned goods will be donated to the OUR center.

Suggested Donation: $3 plus 1 can of food

* Classes are free but bikes are limited so please sign up in advance for cycling classes.

*Parents Day Out
It’s Christmas time and you need an afternoon to finish your shopping? Drop off the children at the YMCA and take advantage of the last minute rush. The program is filled with activities for all ages of children which include games, crafts, playtime, a “G” movie at the end of the day and plenty of opportunities to make friends. We will also serve pizza, juice and other healthy snacks. The Child Watch will be open for small children. Advance registration is required.

Saturday, Dec. 6  from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
