Youth Programs

The YMCA has long been at the forefront of providing quality, low-cost programming for youth. Our programs are run by caring, experienced staff with a focus on youth development principles: safety, relationship building, skill building, community involvement, and meaningful youth participation.

Flag Football

Join the fun of the YMCA’s Flag Football League!

We offer a coed program designed to teach the skills of the game, teamwork, and fun. The YMCA values—caring, honesty, respect and responsibility—are an integral part of our program. Our league is coached by volunteers, many of whom are parents who want to get involved. Our coed program has leagues divided into age groups. Our main motto is "Kids first, winning second."

Child Watch

Need a safe place for your children ages 6 weeks – 12 years while you focus on your wellness routine?

Summer Swim Clinics

Swim Clinics are a week long clinic that will help improve your child’s swim level ability. Clinics are for 4-11 years old and can be your first time swimming or advanced swimmer. During the week you will learn pool safety, rules and be taught lessons by our certified swim instructors.

Summer Sports Clinics

Summer Sport Clinics are a great way to improve and develop your child’s skills over the summer, and make new friends! The YMCA teaches the fundamentals of each sport in a co-ed non-competitive manner that integrate our four core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility in all that we do.

T-Ball/Coach Pitch

Join the fun of the YMCA’s non-competitive Tball & Coach Pitch Baseball Leagues! We offer a coed program designed to teach the skills of the game, support fun and teamwork. The YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are an integral part of our program. Teams will be formed by age groups for boys and girls 4 years old through children entering 5th grade (fall 2014). Register at the Welcome Desk or online today!

Summer Camp

Welcome to Summer Camp 2015 at the Longmont YMCA!

We have so many amazing activities and fun learning planned for this summer! This is going to be the summer your kids will never forget! We conducted many parent reviews of Camp 2014 and we have made some wonderful changes that kids and families will be sure to appreciate, and we have kept the favorites such as STEM, arts, physical activity, swimming, field trips, farm education, culinary programs, reading time and healthy snacks. Please take some time to read through our Parent Handbooks for information on our Y-Site and TPCA locations. Brianna, the Youth Development Director, and our other great directors are happy to answer your questions and walk you through the registration process. We strive to create quality programs that are affordable but we always have financial assistance for all families who need it.

Youth In Action

This free program for youth ages 7–13 is designed to keep kids active and develop friendships within our Y.  We spend an hour doing something creative like art, music, science, or cooking, then an hour keeping fit through sports and games. Sign your child up at the front desk and let them enjoy the Y in their own way while you work out!
