The Twin Peaks Rotary group that meets at the First Lutheran Church included the YMCA Partial Day Preschool in their Holiday Celebration on Dec. 8.  The  children and their siblings were invited to come sing with the group and see Santa.

Santa shared stories of the North Pole and his reindeer with the children as a group.  Each child had an opportunity to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.  He gave them each a wrapped book as a gift.  When all the children received their gifts, they opened them together.  Much joy and excitement were shared while unwrapping their gifts. Families were enthusiastic about this event and appreciated the generosity of the Rotary. In one class a certain girl who loves fairies asked “How did he know I liked fairies?”.  Another boy who loves tractors, got wide-eyed and waved his hands up and down in excitement when he say his book with pictures of tractors.  We are thankful for connections that have been made with the Twin Peaks Rotary.  We look forward to this event next year at this same time.
