Here at the Longmont Y, we have swimming options for every age and every level! It's a great way to make friends and build your aquatics skills. Come learn from our excelent swim instructors, get some exercise, and have a great time in our pool!
Each skill level builds upon the preceding level.
For ages 6 months- 5 years
An introduction to aquatics for parents and their young children including the basics of water safety and swimming orientation.
For ages 3 - 5
A child's first experience in the pool without parental assistance. Children are taught the basic skills that are the building blocks of swimming.
For ages 6 - 12
Youth lessons focus on building stroke and diving fundamentals as well as safety skills.
For ages 6 - 16
Work out and have fun! Class emphasis is on stroke improvement and increasing endurance. Must have completed Youth level.
